The Royal Castle of Essaouira, also known as the Skala de la Ville, is a historical fortress located in the city of Essaouira, Morocco. The castle was built in the 18th century by the Sultan Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdallah to protect the city from foreign invasions.

The entrance fee to the Royal Castle of Essaouira is 10 MAD (approximately 1 USD). The castle is open to visitors from 9 AM to 6 PM, every day of the week.

Unfortunately, I could not find an official website for the castle.

Nearby attractions include the Essaouira Citadel, the Moulay Hassan Square, the Essaouira Beach, and the Essaouira Fishing Port. The Essaouira Citadel is open from 8 AM to 6 PM, while the Moulay Hassan Square is open 24/7. The Essaouira Beach and the Essaouira Fishing Port are open to visitors during daylight hours.
